When a man takes a plunge in to the sea, he gets the merit of bathing in all the Thirthas and sacred rivers. Similarly, when a man takes refuge at the feet of Sathguru,he gets the merit of bowing to trinity ie. Brahma,Vishnu, and Mahesh and also Para -Brahma. Victory be unto Shri Sai, who gives us self realisation.
Oh Sai, Sathguru, create in us reverance. Only you can take us across the ocean of maya and make us see the God in all creatures.
Saints and prophets,usually select the holy river beds, pleasant gardens, holy places where their Guruji resides, blessed by his holiness, to sit and bless us all, in this Kaliyuga, is an accepeted and known fact, to all of us.
In such a way, Sathguru Sainath Maharaj has come down to decent at the Cauvery river bed where numerous divine and medicinal plants and trees are grown naturally and the sacred 'Pouranami Pooja' being performed and worshiped for more than 25 years. This holy place is situated on the trunk road leading to Kallanai, via Thiruvalarcholai from Thiruvanaikovil of Trichy. The place is called Dhimmaraya Samudhram. The poetic landscape spreaded around 1.6 acres. Lord Sainaath has come down at the natural shrine where
the holy Amla and Neem trees ( Vishnu & Shiva ) eatangled naturally to depict the divine nature of Mahalakshmi
in the Gurusthan. The concecration of this great SRIRANGASAI to bless the devotees has been commissioned
from 26.01.2013.
Usually in all holy shrines, the holy trees, gardens, Sthalavirutchams are all created and nurtured after words. But here in Srirangasai temple, Srirangasai himself selected the ideal garden place where such holiness and sacred trees like, Amla, Neem, Arasu ( Bodhi ), Country fig, Jamon, Bengal quince, Peach, Moura butter, Nariyal ( Coconut ),Mango, Shrutty basil, Margosa, Portia, Jambolanna, Ruthraksham etc. Are all already planted and groomed to give a serine atmosphere. This sort of his ( Sainath ) selection of such a airy,calm,pleasant, greeny atmosphere is of great wonder. It is of great sight to see the Lord Vinaitheerththa Vinayagar having been kept on the wide stage,under the sacred nagalinga tree, which started its flowering, spreading its colour,and fragraance
very nicely. Here in this shrine, the name of the Sathguru has been very aptly named as SRIRANGASAI.
As in the holy Shirdi, behind the Gurusthan, there is a well which never dries up and a garden, like Baba's Lendi. These are all naturally present and not made for the temple purpose. This phenomina of presence is of great wonder. A Dwarakamai has also been built which Baba lelished, all along, in this holy temple to prepare and distribute the holy ' UDHI ' prasad, to the Sai devotees. Following the foot prints of holy Shirdi, daily poojas are performed at 6am, noon 12pm, evening 6pm and night 8pm. Apart from 4 times daily Aarati's and Lalitha Sahasranama parayanam, Guru Poornima, Vijaya dhasami, Srirama navami, Chiththirai new year day, Gokulashtami and the Guru pradhishta day, totalling six grand functions are celebrated. During Pournami day, every month, Sathyanarayana pooja is performed keenly as is in Shirdi temple. Every thursdays Sainath is taken in a special cradle decorated with flowers and special umbrella ie. ' Pallakku Urvalam' - on thursdays and sundays, devotees flock in thousands and attend the aarthis very religiously. The devotees consists of all age groups sex and religions invariably.
On these two days three times 'Full annadhanam' is given to the devotees along with 'Udhi' prasad. Group prayers ie. collective prayers are done for the health and well being of the devotees, and their kith and kins. As it has been advocated by Sainath to chant Sai namam repeatedly being the latest new and easiest path way of Bakthi margam, the devotees are kept engaged in this chanting and 1008 Namajeba prarthana. As Sathguru's loved ones being various small living things, like, Dogs, Cats, Peacocks,Ducks are all swarming the temple premises showing the devotees, the need to love all living beings.
This Sriranga Sai Trust Foundation apart from helping the public to worship the Sai, has engaged themselves, in various social and socital services. Free eye camps are conovcted regularly for conducting cataract surgeries,
correction of eye vision by wearing eye lens and various opthalmic problems with the able and efficiant association
of Aravind eye hospital,Madurai. Hundreds and hundreds of patients are benefitted out of this eye camps. Like wise ENT camps to detect the problems and support them with hearing aids and required surgeries. Physically handicaped are given with required help of sticks, wheel chairs and surgeries if need be. Blind persons are also given with sticks and talking watches. This is an opportunity to assemble in a holy place and pray for their welfare. Periodical blood donation camps are conducted with the association of Trichy G.H. Encouraging the young to care for their co-living human beings. Eye donation registration is continuesly done to create an awareness of vision and love towards fellow lives. Further a revolutionary service of Siddha care to the suffrings of human beings is arranged meticulously
at this Sriranga Sai Temple.The siddha vaithiars who are engaged in this siddha parambara medical system of medicines for more than 4 decades are providing free consultations for the needy affected by dreaded diseases and disorders like, Cancers, Liver chirosis, Stones, Jaundice, Strokes, problems related to Uterus and Ductless glands Like Thyroid, Prostate etc, This special siddha care is provided to the needy patients of all age groups by the experianced Vaithiars on sundays and thursdays. With the great blessings of Sai, even childless couple and mentally retarded children get relief to the surprise of all moreover to keep them involved in the futuristic nation building
by the youngsters, free yoga classes are arranged and conducted on sundays by early morning 7 am. It will be a
pleasant sight to see young ones and old simultaniously performing yogic exercises on the pleasant sunday morning at this temple premises. This devoted and involved yoga practice is being regulated by the able guidance of yoga masters. Further to propagate the need of trees plantations are sold for a normianal uniform cost to the devotees interested to participate in this,with a catchy inspiring head as ' Sriranga Sai Virutcha Prasadam' at the temple premises as such more than thirty noble medicinal plants are identified inside the temple premises, which is of a rere phenomina.
All these concentrated round the week services and attentions are excercised under a small thatched office room and honourable services of few sincere volunteers only. The proposed new temple under construction is going on with the able and efficiant guidance of an engineer with all devotion, at an approximate well spreaded area of 20,000 sq.feet. It is planned to have two floors. In the lower floor it has been planned to place the three great Lords -Sathya Narayana - Baba - Dhathathreyar. This will be a piller less spacious Dhyana mandabam. First floor has been planned for devotees to have dharshan of Baba and to have their worship done. All the sai devotees are expecting the new wide spreaded temple to come in to usage at an early date and are praying for a speedy process of the same.
While on this, it is a great surprise to all that a 'Suyambu Baba' emerged when the basement work was started and that Suyambu Baba is placed near the Sai at Gurusthan receiving arthis, blessing the visiting sai devotees. It will be a great large essay to talk and write about the experiances of the devotees visiting this Sriranga Sai Temple. The great effort of bringing the Sainath as per his wish to this great holy place and make people throng for their worshiping Lord Sriranga Sai, is all made possible because of the devoted sincere great hearted action of the philanthrafic family of Dr. G.Chittrambalam of srirangam.
